rebecca + nicholas will be tying the knot the day after valentine’s day in san francisco! we played off their romantic wedding date for their valentine save the dates we posted a few months ago. the couple wanted to go in a different direction for the invitations to reflect the feel of the venue, the portrero hill neighborhood house and their love of william morris textile patterns. we used a modern interpretation of the wallpaper-style floral patterns that were still in keeping with the arts and crafts look they were after. each card was printed flat on a cotton sheet then bundled together with jute twine for a natural and relaxed feel. the envelopes were hand addressed in a mix of cursive and deco-inspired print by mandy of myrtle and lloyd.
