jillian and dave, who wed last june at the congregation rodeph shalom before celebrating amongst family and friends at the please touch museum, desired a balance of elegance and quirk for their invitation suite. their two color letterpress invites were entirely eggplant purple except for the pop of a chartreuse green bow tie indicating guests to sport their very own green bow ties in honor of the couples’ favorite color! their rsvp postcards were presented in madlibs style and featured an 1876 etching of memorial hall during the world’s fair as a homage to their playful reception venue. but the quirkiest part of their cards, perhaps, were the minute details that were added to show the couple’s personality. an alpaca etching was featured on the kraft paper tags, to represent the unforgettable day that dave proposed to jillian in front of a live alpaca! there is also a mini alpaca hidden in the postcard image along with custom monogrammed laurels. their suite was tied together with a chartreuse silk ribbon and tag announcing their website before being mailed out in pale gray envelopes digitally printed with guests’ addresses. we are thrilled with the completion of this suite, and wish this couple a lifetime of fun and fulfillment together!
