to commemorate the last day of winter we are pleased to share this summery seashore suite. jamie + daniel will be celebrating their wedding at the windrift in avalon, new jersey this may. this invitation package is all about textures and the natural hues of the jersey shore. the invite was letterpressed with a a woodgrain pattern inspired by beach driftwood. the response card hints at the old-timey postcards sold on the boardwalk back in the day. we used a vintage photo of the venue on the front and a fun mad libs style response on the back. the rehearsal and details card both use sprigs of faded dune grass as a main design element. inside the folded details card we created a simple map of the jersey shore with each destination highlighted. the cards were bundled together with a natural jute twine and casual monogram tag. the invite was mailed in a kraft envelope with gold-inked addressing by butler’s pantry.
