save the date and invitation package for jacqueline + brian. they were married this past march in pittsburgh, pennsylvania. they met and fell in love in philadelphia, so they asked us to incorporate an icon that resembled the love statue located in love park in center city, philadelphia. they had a very clean, modern color palette of black, white and a dash of hot pink. they requested the style of the invitations to have an overall traditional feel with touches of contemporary graphic patterns.
the save the date was a self-mailing postcard. we used a combination of a full bleed monotone image of the love statue with an overlapping graphic circle pattern.
the bride and groom requested the invitation design be more formal. the package included the invitation, rsvp postcard, accommodation card and custom map. everything was held together neatly with a graphic black and white belly band, where we carried over the love icon.
