we love working with illustrators to create a one of a kind piece! we are featuring these two holiday cards together because they both involved custom illustrations. the front of the folded holiday card for connelly-newman realty was illustrated by meg hunt. we were lucky to work with her on bridget + tom’s invite last year and thought she’d be perfect for this commission. the client requested a cozy stone house typical of the main line area in pennsylvania set in a snowy scene. the interior of the card held a poem called winter time written by robert louis stevenson.
liz, a former bride of ours, has an incredible sense of humor and came up with the idea of a naughty santa card for her and her husband to send to their friends. our college friend and incredibly talented illustrator, peter wonsowski took on the job of depicting the jolly man caught in the act!
