we’re delighted to share these black letterpress and silver foil wedding invitations for our couple anne + randy getting married at the end of october at the franklin institute in philadelphia. the bride and groom requested an elegant, but hip package that hinted at old hollywood glamour. they thought stars would be nice touch since they will be saying their vows beneath the glittery constellations of the museum’s planetarium. we love the balance of the all black lettering surrounded by the playful metallic stardust. the invite, reply card, and weekend event card were held together with a burgundy silk bow, which was tied high on the invite to mimic the empire-waisted bow on anne’s wedding gown. the envelope was lined with a matching burgundy liner to add another pop of color and warmth. the return addresses were letterpressed in black ink onto the envelopes and hand addressed by danica of the butler’s pantry. we designed a monogram for their custom postage which will be carried throughout their wedding day materials which we are currently wrapping up! excited to share more of this spectacular wedding!
