work wednesday: alea + ilan.

 
alea + ilan will be saying their vows over memorial day weekend on the race street pier in the shadows of the ben franklin bridge. they will party with friends and family afterwards at the industrial lofty venue, power plant productions. this fun couple mentioned that there will be succulents and skulls sprinkled on the tables and we couldn’t wait to incorporate those in their invitation suite. casual handwritten and vintage block style fonts surrounded by wild blooms were letterpressed onto the invitation. the rsvp postcard was printed digitally onto a kraft cover stock. i think our favorite detail has to be the faceless skulls where guests could artistically fill out their response! a hand dyed silk ribbon was wrapped around the cards and tied tightly with natural suede leather and manila tag. a rubber-stamped wedding website with wolf etching is featured here because ilan proposed to his bride at a local wolf sanctuary. we believe that these personal details truly make an invitation one of a kind!
