danielle and andrew threw a fun and sophisticated wedding at the please touch museum this past spring. the couple requested a gold and navy art deco style invitation that included a custom illustration of the venue. we had fun sketching and painting memorial hall which was constructed for the centennial exhibition in 1876 and now home to the museum. the invitation, reply and details card were tied together with delicate gold cord on 2 sides of the invitation to provide framing and structure. the suite was mailed out in a metallic gold envelope with navy addressing. we also put together a coordinating guest guide that included all of the couple’s favorite spots to see and dine in the city. there is something so timeless and quirky about art deco design that really works for philadelphia weddings!
