because alison conklin loves to send her clients pretty quotes in their final photo package, she came to us for not one, but two new beautiful cards. she selected two heartfelt quotes from the television show cheers and the movie about time. each was designed with a sleek modern font and pressed in a stunning gold and rose gold foil. we just love these sweet little mementos!

in between all of our clients’ fabulous holiday cards we each managed to squeeze in our own family holiday card before the close of the season. we both went went with a traditional 5×7 digitally printed card, though they would be nothing without the photographic assistance of alison conklin! we kinda love that holiday cards require a mandatory photo shoot to capture these giggly moments forever!
after designing rachel + ben’s save the dates, they came back for their invitations! the couple wed on the 22nd of october at the princeton university chapel followed by a reception at the cherry valley country club. they wanted to carry over the modern, clean, geometric patterns and their fresh palette of black, white, green + gray. the whole suite was digitally printed. the modern invite was backed by a crisp black half pocket which held their stacked oversized rsvp postcard and folded details card. we also designed a custom map personalized with two little squirrels at the couple’s request! everything was tied neatly together with black and white baker’s twine and finished with a custom monogram tag. the package was mailed to their guests in a grey envelope addressed in black ink.
we created this sparkly frozen-but-not-too-frozen-themed invitation for fiona’s fourth birthday party held this past weekend at fairy godmothers in my cute little town of pitman, new jersey. we printed the dappled blue + lavender watercolor on metallic white paper for an extra icy touch. check out my happy four year old and her adorable princess pals posing with their favorite lady, elsa. these girls were pampered properly with hair, nails and makeup. the day continued with stories by elsa, treasure chest prizes, pizza, cupcakes and sugar rimmed pink drinks! those fairy godmothers know how to throw a party!
in honor of alison and aaron’s upcoming one year anniversary we are celebrating this festive invitation suite. the couple’s ceremony was held at holy cross church in philadelphia followed by a reception at the philadelphia cricket club. per the bride’s request, we used a christmas present as inspiration for their december wedding invitation suite. the invitation was printed with a seasonal combo of gold foil and forest green letterpress. the reception card was also printed using the same techniques which made those café lights sparkle! the rsvp card was printed in full color with a red and green plaid pattern and paired with a kraft envelope. the impeccably wrapped package was tied together with care with shiny gold ribbon and finished with a kraft pine tree tag. guests received their cheerful package in a digitally addressed kraft envelope. this suite gives us all the cozy holiday feelings!
we took a break from our regularly scheduled work wednesday to bring you these sparkly beauties! we have been busy bees at the studio assembling this luxe invitation suite for a winter wedding. can’t wait for the bride-to-be to see them!
a couple more of our birth announcements, designed for petite lemon for shutterfly, are now available for purchase! our modern grid birth announcement comes in both boy and girl versions, each with 2 color options. it’s always baby season!
from the moment we met elizabeth we learned that her favorite color was emerald green, so it only made sense to use that as the signature color in her invitation suite. elizabeth and edward recently got married this past september at st. thomas of villanova church followed by an elegant reception at appleford estate. we had our talented calligrapher, danica, from the butler’s pantry, hand write the entire invitation, monogram, and titles for the insert cards. her beautiful handwriting was letterpressed as an oversized invitation combined with digitally printed insert cards on matching cotton stock. we adorned the invitation with laurels and leaves to lend to the natural beauty of the estate’s gardens. we used a beautiful photo of the appleford’s boxwood maze for the front of the reply postcard. all of the pieces were bundled together with a billowy white silk ribbon bow. we also worked with elizabeth and edward to create some of their day of materials such as their program and thank you notes. wishing these two many years of happiness!
we are reminiscing about our time spent at the shore this summer…taylor and thomas were married this past june at the stately shore deal golf and country club. taylor requested a stylish suite that struck a balance between beautiful and fun. the invitations were printed using shiny gold foil and navy letterpress to capture a touch of the nautical vibe they were seeking. the reply card was a retro jersey shore postcard inspired by the couple’s favorite destination. the website tag was printed on a metallic gold paper with a half hole punch to mimic a ride ticket for the infamous boardwalk rides. the collection was bundled together with a gold and natural twine and mailed out in navy envelopes addressed with gold calligraphy.
this past weekend we celebrated GD50, a commemoration of 50 years of graphic design at our college, the university of the arts. chey was asked to party chair the event with dee by her side to design and set up for the big day. it was an intense 18 months of design and collaboration with fellow alumni to make it all happen…a full weekend of exhibits, workshops, symposium and party. the party was a success…guests were greeted outside by rumble (a bucket-drum ensemble) and entered into a red-lit sixties cocktail space where they enjoyed a beer tasting by st. benjamin’s brewing co. after cocktail hour, they entered into main event space for dinner, which was glittered with cafe lights and a mix of red and white paper lanterns. entertainment for the night included sword fighting and a quartet interspersed with activities such as live screen printing, memory wall and photo booth. our role in the event was such an honor and it was overwhelming to see all of our past professors and reconnect with new and old alumni. WE ARE HERE.
