My mom upcycles old pieces of jewelry, beads and small figurines and creates one of a kind picture frames. In between mid-terms today I went back to my house and started picking through some of the trinkets to make my own. I haven’t started gluing them onto the frame yet. If it turns out anything like my moms does, it’ll be pretty! And might even become a Christmas gift!
happy hanukkah! wishing all of our clients + friends warmth, love + light!
In my advertisement class we are doing a rebrand project. We chose to rebrand the Philadelphia Seaport Museum. It’s a group project and I was in charge of all the sea creature illustrations. My favorite part is the small glass bottle with a treasure map rolled up inside. The project has a few other elements to it but here is some of what I have been working on so far.
dana + matthew were married last weekend at church of christ the king, followed by a reception at the glamorous park savoy estate. dana went for a wintry slate blue color palette accented with branches and berries. we painted a wash of cool blue watercolor on the letterpress invitations to create a handmade luxe look. each guest received a slightly different invitation truly making them one of a kind. the invitation and inserts were tied together with a silvery blue dyed silk ribbon, gold chord and finished with a wooden tag. the bride designed the monogram herself and we engraved it into the wooden circle for a very personal touch. the suite was mailed out in a pale gray envelope with slate blue addressing. we wish these sweet newly weds nothing but the best ahead!!
During my five days off from school for thanksgiving I needed a break from the computer screen and school work. I’ve been wanting to try sewing and never found any time for it. I first drew out a design in illustrator, printed it, placed fabric overtop of the paper and traced the design. Sewing is a lot more time consuming than I thought. I am anxious to see what it looks like at the end!
sam and dirk fell in love while on an archeological dig in italy, how cool is that?! they recently invested in a 100 year old farmhouse in valley forge, pa, restored it and had their friends and family join them for a wedding to celebrate. here are their bold, mixed font save the date postcards to exhibit their not-so-boring personalities. we look forward to sharing their colorful invitation and wedding day materials with you next!

Hi everyone, I’m Amber O’Brien! And this is my dog, Odie. I am loveleigh’s new intern! I am currently a senior graphic design student at West Chester University. After high school I attended Delaware County Community College and was unsure of what major I wanted to pick. I’ve always loved art so I decided to take some graphic design classes and I fell in love with it! After graduating with my associates I than transferred to West Chester to get my bachelor’s. I am so excited to be loveleigh’s intern and gain as much experience as I can! Each Friday though my fall semester I will be blogging and sharing with you some of my projects that I am working on. Have a great weekend!
