kim and blake wed last may at the exotic olowalu plantation house in lahaina, hawaii. kim, creator of eat/sleep/wear (a fashion blog), and her fiancé desired a modern, clean design that resembled their beautiful ceremony space. with a dark green color scheme, and appropriated pops of hawaiian yellow, their invitations were stacked and include subtle touches of palm and pineapples. together the cards were tied off with natural white jute twine and a kraft tag featuring a gold foil pineapple. delivered in crisp white envelopes, their guests received hand addressed gold metallic ink by mandy from myrtle & lloyd. we couldn’t be happier with the completion of this project, and are pleased to find our work, along with snippets of their ceremony, featured in the most recent issue of brides magazine! check out the article here!
in addition to their wedding stationery, we also designed a corresponding holiday card for the newlyweds. these cards, of 5×7 size, featured a stunning black and white photo overlaid by the prettiest hawaiian christmas greeting. along with a clean, thin, gold foil font, their holiday cards were mailed in gold envelopes with coordinating wrap mailing labels.
this project has been one of our favorites thus far, and we are thrilled that kim and one of our dearest photographer friends, alison conklin, are teaming up with brides to offer an AMAZING giveaway. enter for a chance to win a free engagement session with alison here!
