my (dee) baby shower was held back in november at the beautiful buck hotel in feasterville, pennsylvania. of course chey designed the invitations for me! i loved the idea of mixing elements like watercolor, polka dots, chevron and of course gold glitter!! we didn’t really have a “theme” for the nursery or the party, but i fell in love with the saying from this h+m onesie, happy happy baby. that cute saying became the focal point of the invitation and the colors were based off of the baby’s nursery — coral, peach, navy, white and gold. the invitations were mailed in glitter-lined navy envelopes and hand addressed in gold ink by melanie from gracefully addressed.

we didn’t have too many games at the shower, but i did want guests to have something to do while i opened gifts. they played baby bingo and also filled out a little note to baby lyons and selected the traits from both pat and i they thought she may have (we both a great time reading them that night!) for our favor, we found these super cute old fashioned mini pies in a variety of flavors! it was right before the holiday season and we thought they were the perfect way to say thank you to our guests. they were tied with yarn with a tiny tag that read thank you for celebrating our new little sweetie pie! it was such a fabulous day for our new little family-to-be!
