work wednesday: colleen + anthony.

colleen and anthony will exchange their vows this october at the maris stella church, followed by a reception at the windrift in avalon, new jersey. the couple wanted their package to feel like the natural beauty of the seashore, so we used muted colors and patterns of gray driftwood and natural seagrass. the invite is a soft gray and ocean blue letterpress. the reply postcard features a painted water color picture of a lifeguard’s boat on the front, with a vintage postcard design on the back. the front of the details card features a custom map of avalon with points of interests and venues highlighted. the pieces were bundled together with natural jute twine displaying a circular, wooden tag, engraved with the couple’s monogram. they were mailed in a warm gray envelope and hand addressed in sky blue ink by ashley wren of hello bird. we had a blast working with colleen, as well as her very creative planner, sara murray of confetti & co. we are currently having a ball working on her day of materials and cannot wait to share those goodies with you!
