loveleigh’s latest: the way she wears it.

so let’s talk about this gem of a press kit we created for the very talented, dallas shaw. if you don’t know dallas, she is a coveted fashion illustrator and visual director who is hands down the best dressed gal we know. she doesn’t follow trends, she creates them. her magical journey through art and fashion led to becoming the author and illustrator of her very first book, the way she wears it: the ultimate insider’s guide to revealing your personal style. she asked us to dream up a creative press kit to promote her book which was mailed to influencers all over the country, including the likes of kendall jenner and makeup artist, carmindy. we designed a self-mailing box in blush pink that upon opening became an experience showcasing the book and fun swag inside. the receiver was greeted with an illustrated note from dallas enclosed in a vellum envelope, sealed with copper tape. we designed a belly band and bookmark to compliment the book. creative solutions created those very sparkly, girly pins exclusively for the press kit. and everyone’s favorite nail polish, essie mixed a custom polish, copper penny, as well! we worked with mandy of myrtle and lloyd to hand-write recipient names on the custom address labels for the final touch. this box was well-received by many and we were honored to be a part of such a special project! and to all of you beauty and fashion junkies out there, this look book meets work book is a must read!
