I am taking a letterpress class during my winter break. So far I have created a test print of a dog and sun that I may turn into a card and made a vintage Christmas coaster. My teacher has a room full of drawers filled with type and image letterpress pieces. Right now we are currently working on a book page with one paragraph of text. It takes many hours to sort through each letter and line each word up correctly. I have learned that you need set up each word backwards which makes it difficult. It’s a fun class, but I am thankful that printing today is a lot quicker and easier!
