work wednesday: elizabeth + edward.

​from the moment we met elizabeth we learned that her favorite color was emerald green, so it only made sense to use that as the signature color in her invitation suite. elizabeth and edward recently got married this past september at st. thomas of villanova church followed by an elegant reception at appleford estate. we had our talented calligrapher, danica, from the butler’s pantry, hand write the entire invitation, monogram, and titles for the insert cards. her beautiful handwriting was letterpressed as an oversized invitation combined with digitally printed insert cards on matching cotton stock. we adorned the invitation with laurels and leaves to lend to the natural beauty of the estate’s gardens. we used a beautiful photo of the appleford’s boxwood maze for the front of the reply postcard. all of the pieces were bundled together with a billowy white silk ribbon bow. we also worked with elizabeth and edward to create some of their day of materials such as their program and thank you notes. wishing these two many years of happiness!
