invitation package for olivia and sean’s washington d.c. garden wedding. they will be married sunday evening at a ceremony in the garden of olivia’s home followed by their reception at the woodend nature sanctuary in chevy chase, maryland.

olivia and sean came to us with their wedding planner, alexandra kovach of alexandra & company, to create their invitations using a calming slate blue and gray color palette. they also had another request, as sean is an artist, they wanted to incorporate a piece of his own artwork throughout the package. we created this custom pocketfolder using a scan of his beautiful tree and leaf creation. we carried this through all of the pieces of the package as well. we were thrilled when we learned they wanted a letterpressed invitation as we knew the drawing would translate beautifully with this printing method. they also used katie newman of the pretty pen for their beautiful calligraphy.
