from the moment we met elizabeth we learned that her favorite color was emerald green, so it only made sense to use that as the signature color in her invitation suite. elizabeth and edward recently got married this past september at st. thomas of villanova church followed by an elegant reception at appleford estate. we had our talented calligrapher, danica, from the butler’s pantry, hand write the entire invitation, monogram, and titles for the insert cards. her beautiful handwriting was letterpressed as an oversized invitation combined with digitally printed insert cards on matching cotton stock. we adorned the invitation with laurels and leaves to lend to the natural beauty of the estate’s gardens. we used a beautiful photo of the appleford’s boxwood maze for the front of the reply postcard. all of the pieces were bundled together with a billowy white silk ribbon bow. we also worked with elizabeth and edward to create some of their day of materials such as their program and thank you notes. wishing these two many years of happiness!

katherine and sean celebrated their wedding this past may at st. john the evangelist church in philadelphia followed by an elegant affair at the union league. the overall aesthetic of their invitation suite was inspired by katherine’s grandmother’s own wedding invitation. we used a delicate cursive typeface to mimic the wispy handwriting from the vintage stationery suite. the invitation was tastefully engraved with navy ink on a duplexed felt stock with painted gold edging. the reply card, reception card, details card with a custom map of the city, and belly band were printed flat in full color. katherine asked for a timeless monogram to use throughout her wedding materials, so we added some vintage romance with the laurels. we also had the pleasure of designing the couples day of materials. the vintage touches continued onto the wedding wish cards for the bride and groom inspired by an old-fashioned telegram. the program, menu, and escort cards were designed to match the invite suite. we wish this timeless couple a lifetime of happiness!
we are reminiscing about our time spent at the shore this summer…taylor and thomas were married this past june at the stately shore deal golf and country club. taylor requested a stylish suite that struck a balance between beautiful and fun. the invitations were printed using shiny gold foil and navy letterpress to capture a touch of the nautical vibe they were seeking. the reply card was a retro jersey shore postcard inspired by the couple’s favorite destination. the website tag was printed on a metallic gold paper with a half hole punch to mimic a ride ticket for the infamous boardwalk rides. the collection was bundled together with a gold and natural twine and mailed out in navy envelopes addressed with gold calligraphy.
we are feeling the fall vibes with leigh ann and trevor’s elegant november invites. this autumn wedding will be taking place at the bella voir manor in bensalem, pennsylvania. the tones of deep red, burnt orange and pops of gold create a warm invitation suite perfect for the season. we created a stacked package with invitation, rsvp postcard and details card with custom map. the letterpress invitation was printed with custom red ink and finished with a blind lace deboss detail, our favorite part! the rsvp postcard features a sepia-toned photograph of the venue and the package was tied with a rust silk ribbon and bold tag. everything was mailed in a deep red envelope with metallic gold calligraphy by danica from the butler’s pantry.
laura and ian were married this past april at the rustic barn on the bridge in collegeville, pennsylvania. this simple suite was inspired by their outdoor ceremony and neutral color palette. the couple loved the feel of handwritten typography to add to their special day and natural feel of their venue. the package was printed digitally on a combination of creamy cotton stock and kraft paper stocks. the invitation was stacked with a kraft rsvp postcard adorned with tree textures and a details card completed with a custom map of the area. the suite was finished with a delicate wrap of jute twine and tied with the couples’ monogram tag. these pretty bundles were mailed to the guests in a kraft envelope printed with black ink.
erinn + chris married in july at the very charming old st. mary’s church in philadelphia, followed by a beautiful reception at cescaphe ballroom. they requested a modern and clean invitation suite that showcased the first initial of their new shared last name. that ‘W’ along with the rest of the invite was letterpress with a charcoal gray onto a pearl cranes lettra stock. the reply card and reception info card were printed digitally to match. the pieces were mailed out in a soft gray envelope with printed guest addresses. we so much enjoyed working with erinn and chris, not to mention their very sweet and energetic wedding planner, renee patrone of events by renee.
dana and andrew were married this past july at penn oaks golf club in west chester, pennsylvania. dana requested an elegant and romantic invitation with a touch of playful typography. the package started out as letterpress and evolved into a gold shine foil piece. we love how the delicate lines and laurels catch the light! the invitation was stacked with a lavender reply postcard and simple details card. these pieces were neatly held together with metallic bakers twine and a monogram tag. the invitation was mailed to guests in a matching white envelope with printed guest addressing.
kasey and scott were married this past june with a summer celebration at the westin philadelphia. because scott is a hot air balloon pilot (how cool is that?!), a balloon element was a must have! their letterpress invitation was printed in a charcoal grey with a pop of fresh aqua. a balloon similar in style to scott’s created a blind impression behind the details of their nuptials. their stacked rsvp postcard and details card fit neatly into a soft grey pocket. their package was completed with beautiful silk aqua ribbon and tied with a wooden monogram tag. these little bundles were mailed to their wedding guest in a matching soft grey custom addressed envelope. we wish these newlyweds much love and happiness!
anna and kevin will be saying their i do’s this weekend at the ashford estate in allentown, new jersey. the very formal and european style venue set the tone for the design of their sophisticated suite. their 5.5″ x 8.5″ letterpress invitation was printed on a luxurious ecru cotton paper in antique gold and charcoal gray. we adorned the top of the invitation with a custom monogram and used traditional fonts and flourishes throughout all of the cards. the reply and accommodations card were printed on a coordinating ivory metallic sheet to add a little sparkle. the invitation was wrapped in a delicate gold silk ribbon and metallic tag with the couple’s wedding date. the invites were mailed in a matching ecru envelope and hand addressed by the bride’s friend. we are currently finishing up a few day of pieces for the soon-to-be mr. and mrs!
alea + ilan will be saying their vows over memorial day weekend on the race street pier in the shadows of the ben franklin bridge. they will party with friends and family afterwards at the industrial lofty venue, power plant productions. this fun couple mentioned that there will be succulents and skulls sprinkled on the tables and we couldn’t wait to incorporate those in their invitation suite. casual handwritten and vintage block style fonts surrounded by wild blooms were letterpressed onto the invitation. the rsvp postcard was printed digitally onto a kraft cover stock. i think our favorite detail has to be the faceless skulls where guests could artistically fill out their response! a hand dyed silk ribbon was wrapped around the cards and tied tightly with natural suede leather and manila tag. a rubber-stamped wedding website with wolf etching is featured here because ilan proposed to his bride at a local wolf sanctuary. we believe that these personal details truly make an invitation one of a kind!
