loveleigh’s latest: anna + stephen.

anna and stephen were married last november at normandy farm in blue bell, pennsylvania. they requested a formal and modern suite with clean fonts and a light wash of slate blue watercolor. at their consultation, we learned about anna’s love for calligraphy, so we knew we had to incorporate her unique lettering style into her letterpress invitation, reply postcard and details cards. this beautiful bundle was wrapped with a combination of one of our favorite hand-dyed silk ribbons and metallic silver rope. everything arrived to guests in a metallic charcoal envelope. we just loved working with this family . . . and we just met with her sister, so stay tuned!

loveleigh’s latest: glynis + bradford.

glynis and bradford were married at saint sebastian church in fort lauderdale and partied among the palms and hibiscus flowers afterwards at the breathtaking bonnet house. we went for a clean and classic suite with a pop of color to play on the bold colors of the tropical gardens. the invitation was letterpressed in the very popular and beloved slate blue ink with gold foil accents. we painted the venue and palms ourselves in watercolor and printed on frosted vellum. this vellum softens the colors while the transparency hints at what lays beneath. a hand dyed blue slate silk ribbon tied the bundle together and the envelope was lined to match.

see you in september!

before the craziness of back to school, we are going to take a little break from the blog/social media to enjoy the last few lazy days of summer with our families! we will be back in setember with lots of loveleigh’s latest!!! cheers to a few more summer nights!

loveleigh’s latest: shana’s bat mitzvah.

did someone say glow party?! we loved designing in neon for shana’s bat mitzvah celebration. she was called to the torah in geneva, switzerland last month. her invitations were printed digitally, but looked as though they may just glow in the dark! they were mailed to guests in magenta translucent envelopes filled with multi-colored confetti — so the party started as soon as they opened their invitation!! once the envelopes were sealed, we wrapped them with an ultra bright neon yellow mailing label. mazel tov shana!

but first, let me take a deskie.

every sunny spring { almost summer } day needs flowers!!! how amazing are these florals from the georgia’s flower truck, lehigh valley’s first mobile flower truck. they converted their volkswagen transporter pick up truck to house and showcase locally grown flowers. check out their site for their many pop-up locations to get your own bundle!!
