stephanie and marc were wed on the last number sequential date of the year, 12.13.14, at the upscale crystal tea room in philadelphia. as much as they loved their playful save the dates, they requested a formal and sophisticated silver and plum invitation suite. the letterpress invitation was adhered to a metallic titanium pocket fold. the rehearsal dinner invitation, rsvp postcard and details card were printed on a metallic cover stock and neatly stacked in the side pocket. the pocket was wrapped with a beautiful two-toned satin ribbon and sealed with a tag with their fabulous date. the package was mailed to guests in silver lined black envelopes which were hand addressed in silver ink by danica from the butler’s pantry.
in addition, we also designed stephanie’s wedding shower invitations. she had a brunch at valanni and asked that the design reflect the restaurant as well as her wedding day materials. we decided on a long, tall format adorned with geometric pattern and elegant fonts. each was mailed in a metallic silver envelope and sealed with a custom printed mailing label.
we wish these newlyweds the happiest of holidays and an amazing new year as husband and wife in their new home!
meghan + jozsef were married this past january on a snowy evening at the northampton valley country club in richboro, pennsylvania. their wedding nodded to old-time hollywood glamour and they requested their invitations have the same flair. we designed three separate cards to fit neatly into a die cut pocket folder. each card was made to look like a ticket…something that guests might have received back in the twenties if they were cordially invited to the academy awards! their color palette of silver, deep purple and grey were paired with art deco style fonts and flourishes. the cards were printed on a silver metallic stock for some added glitz. the package arrived to their guests in a charcoal metallic envelope that was hand-addressed by meghan’s aunt. we can’t wait to share photos from her big day with you!
adrienne and rich will be married in late september at the newly renovated sea isle city yacht club. we featured a sneak peek of our design ideas back in june. we ended up going with a simple nautical theme of navy stripes, ropes and flag banners mixed with classic fonts. the invitation pieces were printed in 1-color on ecru cranes lettra cover paper. the invite was adhered to the center of the navy pocketfolder and the reception, rsvp postcard, and detail card stacked neatly in the side pocket. the pocketfolder was bound together by a piece of burlap and authentic sand dollar, assembled by the bride herself. the invite was packaged with green paper fill and mailed out in a kraft box with wrap address label. this is our first boxed invite — such a unique alternative to the traditional envelope!
we brought you samantha + christopher’s cheery save the date back in november. they decided to tone down the color palette to black and amethyst for their wedding invitation. they wanted to keep things a bit more formal for their evening affair at the loews hotel. we still included the chevron pattern, mixed fonts and a few playful icons to match both the bride + groom’s fun personalities.
the large 6″ x 9″ purple pocket folder held the letterpress invite which pronounces the date of the event graphically with oversized numbers bleeding off the edge. the rehearsal invite, reply postcard, and direction/accommodation card all stacked neatly inside the right pocket. the package was held together with a simple square tag displaying the couple’s monogram. the suite was tucked into a black envelope and wrapped with an address label and stamped with coordinated custom postage. we’re very excited to share their fun variety of day of materials with you soon!
jessica and james are getting married this november at st. john the baptist church, followed by a reception at the philadelphia four seasons hotel. she requested a formal invitation package that exuded old hollywood elegance. we achieved this with an oversized two color 6″ x 9″ letterpress invite that was adhered to a pocket fold. this pocket fold pattern of silvery plumes on charcoal metallic paper was the perfect solution to keep the reception, reply, and accommodation card organized. the front of the reply postcard was a nice place to incorporate a touch of philadelphia. we used a vintage photograph of logan circle, because this iconic fountain is located across the street from the venue. this image was also used on the postage for the outer envelope. we also created a classic monogram for the couple that was pressed on the invite and carried over to the reply card postage and small tag that closed the pocket fold. two delicate swarkvoski crystals added just the right amount of glamour to the crest.
the package was stuffed inside a lined metallic charcoal envelope which was addressed in white calligraphy by the fabulous lindsey bee.
