loveleigh’s latest: chelsey + matthew.

we are excited to share chelsey and matthew’s festive wedding invitation suite on this christmas weekend! chelsey and her fiancé requested an elegant yet whimsical invitation package that captured the spirit of the holidays. with a palette of metallic silver, grey, red and green, we created a five piece suite that included a lacy letterpress invitation as well as reply, reception and accommodation cards which were digitally printed on an icy metallic white cover stock. the double-thick invitation was adhered to the inside of a delicate laser cut pocket with the inserts stacked on top. the closed pockets were then wrapped with an ultra wide platinum sheer ribbon and finished with a sparkly silver rope. guests received these festive bundles in silver metallic digitally printed envelopes.

chelsey loved the idea of cohesive wedding day materials and requested table numbers, place cards { complete with color coded icons for food selections } and signage. we designed custom escort card tags for their beautiful hand-made christmas tree ornament favors. we cannot wait to share photos of their holiday wedding. merry christmas and happy new year to these newlyweds!

loveleigh’s latest: kristen + anthony.

kristen and anthony had their wedding ceremony followed by a formal affair this past weekend at blue bell country club in blue bell, pennsylvania. i {dee} have know kristen since she was about eight years old, she used to be her student teacher at her dance studio! so needless to say, we were thrilled when they wanted to work with us. they had a vision of simplistic elegance for their suite, charcoal and white, with pops of a blush pink. their invitation was a combination of traditional serif and script fonts letterpressed in a deep grey on a crisp white cotton cover stock. their reply card and details card followed suite with the addition of the pale pink. everything was neatly held in a metallic white pocket folder wrapped in a ballet pink ribbon and sealed with a monogram tag. these luxurious suites were mailed to guests in metallic blush pink envelopes. we loved every second of working with this couple and hope they are enjoying aruba!!

loveleigh’s latest.

ali and matthew will be wed in just a few short weeks at a traditional greek ceremony at st. george greek orthodox catheral followed by a black tie reception at front & palmer. the theme of their wedding is contradictory black tie. they loved the idea of intermixing black and white lace and formal fonts with touches of fun throughout their suite. . . the bride even composed her own light-hearted poem on the rsvp card! the invitation was a non-traditional, oblong format which was backed by a custom made half pocket. the details card with custom map, rsvp postcard and rehearsal dinner invitations were neatly stacked and inserted into the back pocket. everything was tied together with black cord and finished with a custom illustrated tag of their two adorable bull dogs dressed for the occasion. guests received the invitations in crisp black envelopes with custom mailing labels. we are currently finishing up their wedding day materials!

alexandra and servando celebrated their new years’ eve nuptials at a rustic, california style celebration in santa barbara. with a palette of navy, peach and a pop of gold, we created their pocketfold suite which included a letterpress invitation, rsvp postcard and details card. as a special surprise for her spanish-speaking groom, alexandra asked that the invitation and rsvp card include both english and spanish wording. the pocketfold was wrapped with metallic gold bakers twine and finished with a custom monogrammed tag. the package was mailed in gold glitter lined kraft envelopes and hand addressed in a rich navy ink.

work wednesday: stephanie + marc.

stephanie and marc were wed on the last number sequential date of the year, 12.13.14, at the upscale crystal tea room in philadelphia. as much as they loved their playful save the dates, they requested a formal and sophisticated silver and plum invitation suite. the letterpress invitation was adhered to a metallic titanium pocket fold. the rehearsal dinner invitation, rsvp postcard and details card were printed on a metallic cover stock and neatly stacked in the side pocket. the pocket was wrapped with a beautiful two-toned satin ribbon and sealed with a tag with their fabulous date. the package was mailed to guests in silver lined black envelopes which were hand addressed in silver ink by danica from the butler’s pantry.

in addition, we also designed stephanie’s wedding shower invitations.  she had a brunch at valanni and asked that the design reflect the restaurant as well as her wedding day materials. we decided on a long, tall format adorned with geometric pattern and elegant fonts. each was mailed in a metallic silver envelope and sealed with a custom printed mailing label.

we wish these newlyweds the happiest of holidays and an amazing new year as husband and wife in their new home!

work wednesday: meghan + jozsef.

meghan + jozsef were married this past january on a snowy evening at the northampton valley country club in richboro, pennsylvania. their wedding nodded to old-time hollywood glamour and they requested their invitations have the same flair. we designed three separate cards to fit neatly into a die cut pocket folder. each card was made to look like a ticket…something that guests might have received back in the twenties if they were cordially invited to the academy awards! their color palette of silver, deep purple and grey were paired with art deco style fonts and flourishes. the cards were printed on a silver metallic stock for some added glitz. the package arrived to their guests in a charcoal metallic envelope that was hand-addressed by meghan’s aunt. we can’t wait to share photos from her big day with you!

work wednesday: adrienne + rich.

adrienne and rich will be married in late september at the newly renovated sea isle city yacht club. we featured a sneak peek of our design ideas back in june. we ended up going with a simple nautical theme of navy stripes, ropes and flag banners mixed with classic fonts. the invitation pieces were printed in 1-color on ecru cranes lettra cover paper. the invite was adhered to the center of the navy pocketfolder and the reception, rsvp postcard, and detail card stacked neatly in the side pocket. the pocketfolder was bound together by a piece of burlap and authentic sand dollar, assembled by the bride herself. the invite was packaged with green paper fill and mailed out in a kraft box with wrap address label. this is our first boxed invite — such a unique alternative to the traditional envelope!

work wednesday: jennifer + brian.

a traditional style invitation suite for jennifer and brian’s romantic-shabby-chic wedding that took place last weekend at the bride’s family estate. jennifer requested simple elegance with a touch of lace to mimic the scalloped edging on her veil. we achieved this with a blind deboss lace pattern that framed the charcoal gray wording on her letterpressed invite. we also carried this pattern over to the insert cards along the bottom in light gray. we wrapped the pale blush pocket folder with a natural twine and tag printed with the couple’s monogram. the package was mailed out in a matching blush envelope lined with a warm white cotton paper. the guest addresses (not shown here) were hand-painted by our calligrapher, helene gaffin.

work wednesday: samantha + christopher.

we brought you samantha + christopher’s cheery save the date back in november. they decided to tone down the color palette to black and amethyst for their wedding invitation. they wanted to keep things a bit more formal for their evening affair at the loews hotel. we still included the chevron pattern, mixed fonts and a few playful icons to match both the bride + groom’s fun personalities.

the large 6″ x 9″ purple pocket folder held the letterpress invite which pronounces the date of the event graphically with oversized numbers bleeding off the edge. the rehearsal invite, reply postcard, and direction/accommodation card all stacked neatly inside the right pocket. the package was held together with a simple square tag displaying the couple’s monogram. the suite was tucked into a black envelope and wrapped with an address label and stamped with coordinated custom postage. we’re very excited to share their fun variety of day of materials with you soon!

work wednesday: jessica + james.

jessica and james are getting married this november at st. john the baptist church, followed by a reception at the philadelphia four seasons hotel. she requested a formal invitation package that exuded old hollywood elegance. we achieved this with an oversized two color 6″ x 9″ letterpress invite that was adhered to a pocket fold. this pocket fold pattern of silvery plumes on charcoal metallic paper was the perfect solution to keep the reception, reply, and accommodation card organized. the front of the reply postcard was a nice place to incorporate a touch of philadelphia. we used a vintage photograph of logan circle, because this iconic fountain is located across the street from the venue. this image was also used on the postage for the outer envelope. we also created a classic monogram for the couple that was pressed on the invite and carried over to the reply card postage and small tag that closed the pocket fold. two delicate swarkvoski crystals added just the right amount of glamour to the crest.

the package was stuffed inside a lined metallic charcoal envelope which was addressed in white calligraphy by the fabulous lindsey bee.
