colleen + daniel will be saying their i do’s this weekend at saint rita of cascia church, followed by an elegant reception at the bellevue in center city, philadelphia. colleen requested a formal invitation package that would sparkle and shine. we achieved this look by having their cursive names and delicate striped border pressed with silver foil onto the invitation. the response postcard, accommodation, and details card were all printed in full color on a metallic white paper. they were inserted into a scalloped silver pocket behind the invitation. everything was bound together with a thick plum satin ribbon and tag featuring their date. the outer envelopes were digitally addressed in a traditional cursive in the purple accent color. we really enjoyed working on this invite suite, the save the date and day of materials with this couple and mother-of-the-bride! we wish colleen + daniel a fabulous wedding weekend!

work wednesday: anne + randy.

we’re delighted to share these black letterpress and silver foil wedding invitations for our couple anne + randy getting married at the end of october at the franklin institute in philadelphia. the bride and groom requested an elegant, but hip package that hinted at old hollywood glamour. they thought stars would be nice touch since they will be saying their vows beneath the glittery constellations of the museum’s planetarium. we love the balance of the all black lettering surrounded by the playful metallic stardust. the invite, reply card, and weekend event card were held together with a burgundy silk bow, which was tied high on the invite to mimic the empire-waisted bow on anne’s wedding gown. the envelope was lined with a matching burgundy liner to add another pop of color and warmth. the return addresses were letterpressed in black ink onto the envelopes and hand addressed by danica of the butler’s pantry. we designed a monogram for their custom postage which will be carried throughout their wedding day materials which we are currently wrapping up! excited to share more of this spectacular wedding!

work wednesday: takia + jahri.

have we told you lately how much we love foil stamping? we just knew this would be the perfect printing technique for takia + jahri’s personal stationery. we wanted to give them something luxe, something over the top, but still classic. their wedding monogram and stripes were pressed into 4-ply black museum board in a beautiful, shiny gold foil. we wish these newlyweds all the best in their new life together (and sending lots of luck to jahri for football season!)
