some photos of the evening’s event…

we were honored to be the invitation sponsor for the grand opening of the arts ballroom on wednesday. what a stunning venue! we are both wishing we could get married all over again. the space is located in the heart of center city on locust, between broad and 13th inside the arts condominium. it’s grand and historical, yet very crisp and contemporary.
our invitation + food signage for the day + evening events captured steven starr events theme of art deco meets jane austen. this theme danced throughout the grand hall and ballroom beautifully with decor, food and music. our favorite part of the night was the dessert room! a large mirrored table filled the center of the room and was dripping with ornate candelabras and silver platters packed with tiny little tarts, then topped with towering bushels of baby’s breath and lilac. gorgeous!
wonderful to collaborate with…

tory + kyle.

tory + kyle were married this past october at the beautiful congress hall in cape may, new jersey. they came to us for their wedding day materials. they were having a formal affair and wanted the look to be elegant and sophisticated. the palette was a classic black, ivory and tiffany blue. we designed their monogram, programs, menus, head table/guest placecards, and monogrammed stickers for each hotel guest gift bag.

the lemon ball 2011.

on saturday, january 15th we attended the 5th annual alex’s lemonade stand foundation lemon ball. for the last three years we have been the design co-chairs on the lemon ball committee. we have designed everything from the save the date, the invitation package and all event materials and signage. it was a great night in a brand new venue, the loews philadelphia hotel. with the silent auction, the raffle for the $18,000 diamond bracelet (which we sadly didn’t win!), the butterfly wish fountain, the live auction, and the dance party on the bright yellow dance floor at the end of the evening…it was a huge success for such a great cause! thank you to all of the other chairs and sponsors for making it another great year. it couldn’t have happened without you. we also would like to give a huge thank you to our design committee, allie + samantha, we cannot thank you enough! love you ladies!!

photos from alex’s lemonade stand’s 2010 lemon ball. we were so happy to be an in-kind sponsor for the 2nd year in a row! we had so much fun developing and carrying out the bright and happy theme of butterflies & lemons for this year’s event.
it was a very special night full of inspirational words from alex’s parents — liz and jay scott and many others touched by childhood cancer. over 800 guests filled the ballroom of the downtown marriott where $600,000+ was raised through ticket sales and auction items!!

during the past 3 years the lemon ball has raised nearly $1.5 million towards achieving alex’s dream to cure childhood cancer. if you’re interested in a meaningful and fun night of cocktails, dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions — consider buying tickets to this wonderful cause.

2 little butterflies to help hold the stamp in place.
