loveleigh’s latest: shannon + nicholas.

shannon and nicholas said i do on a beautiful crisp winter day at the manor house at commonwealth, in horsham, pennsylvania. shannon loved the idea of mixing natural textures with a traditional letterpress invitation. a deep burgandy lace covered rsvp postcard sat atop and was triple wrapped with delicate ivory linen, navy silk ribbon and natural jute twine. the suite was completed with the addition of not one, but two tags. these rustic bundles were mailed to guests in ivory envelopes and hand-addressed in classic navy ink by danica, from the butler’s pantry.

we carried a few of their design elements through to their wedding day as well! we designed signage, a large seating chart and a mad libs inspired thank you card, for their guests to have some fun while eating dinner!

we wish these newlyweds the happiest life together! love ya shan!!

loveleigh’s latest: cinco de aidan.

we are back with what may have been one of our favorite projects of the year! aidan max was called to the torah on may 5th, aka, cinco de aidan! we gave a hint of the theme and what was to come in his save the date, but now it was time for a fiesta! papel picado { mexican cut paper party banners } became our inspiration for his laser cut wood veneer invitation. the ornate walnut square invite was adhered to a cobalt blue half pocket. the detail of the cut on the wood was just incredible, even down to the mini sombrero! three inserts { rsvp postcard, details card and kid pick up card } designed with accent colors of green and grey all stacked neatly in the back pocket. the rsvp postcard was even adorned with a custom monogram stamp. this little party arrived to guests in charcoal grey mailing envelopes with round mailing labels and finished with succulent postage!

holy guacomole, the fun did not stop with the invitations, we carried everything over to the day of the celebration. we created color coded menus for their different food stations, signage for their tequila luge and signature cocktail, custom cocktail napkins, water bottles, thank you notes and even escort card flags that were pierced through a lime slice which sat on a festive, miniature shot glass . . . how cute is that?!

after two mitzvah celebrations { yep, we worked with aidan’s sister, brooke }, we will totally miss working with this family. they are master party planners who never leave out a single detail!

loveleigh’s latest: brooke’s bat mitzvah.

check out the exploding box in action!

when brooke and her mother came to us last year with visions of an out-of-the-box invitation suite for her bat mitzvah, we couldn’t wait to get the design process under way. brooke had a love for fashion and loved the idea of incorporating different patterns, fabrics and textiles in the invitation. we loved her non-traditional, bold color palette of black, white, maroon with pops of turquoise. their “exploding box” invitation was layered with brandy melville inspired black and white striped canvas fabric and square maroon cover stock screen printed with black and turquoise ink. custom pockets on both sides held the details for the celebration, as well as the rsvp postcard (complete with personalized brooke postage). the black boxes were wrapped with a vibrant turquoise suede wrap and finished with her B squared monogram (since her initials were B.B.). they arrived to guests in white square boxes with custom address labels which wrapped around the box. when the lids were pulled off of these boxes, the invitations were literally out-of-the-box!

we didn’t stop there! for her amazing party, we designed mints, water bottles, and hand-sanitizers all continuing with the B theme. tables were dressed with custom menus and bold patterned table numbers. as guests entered the hotel, they were greeted with a beautiful display of white marble escort cards hand written in black ink by ashley of hello, bird, with a few B inspirational tiles sprinkled throughout! this family truly knows how to throw a fabulous celebration and we were honored to be a party of it!

work wednesday: the knot philly

we are still feeling rejuvenated from fabulous the knot pro network mixer we were a part of last week at bok bar. this unique venue used to function as a vocational school up until 2013 and now reinvented and restored into an evolving spot to live, work and play in south philly. heart & dash blew everyone away with their creative gymnasium transformation where the event took place. the colors of the evening were eraser pink and chalkboard green inspired by the school itself. it was a fabulous night of refreshing cocktails, delicious treats, good beats and best of all networking with crazy talented vendors!

work wednesday: noa’s bat mitzvah.

noa became a bat mitzvah in april at the philadelphia cricket club. as an admirer of elegance, glamour and fashion she requested a feminine palette of tiffany blue and peony pink with touches of a damask pattern. the theme for the evening was noa & co. inspired by the ever so classic tiffany & co. the invitation, ceremony card and reply postcard were all printed in full color at different sizes, then bundled up as a little present with white satin ribbon and gift tag, our little spin on the iconic tiffany box. coordinating address labels dressed up her crisp white envelopes. noa’s coordinating ceremony program included both hebrew and english translations for the service. we finished the look with a custom noa & co. tiffany blue bag that held the children’s hooded sweatshirt favors. we hope noa and family truly enjoyed their special day!

work wednesday: pam’s baby shower.

pam and pat are eagerly awaiting the arrival their little boy! due in august, she was showered with love by family and friends at her winnie the pooh themed baby shower in june. we were asked to create her invitations and a few party materials! while designing, we came across this adorable quote from mr. pooh himself: sometimes the littlest things take up the most room in your heart. it was so perfect we knew we had to incorporate it into the invitations. we also created coordinating thank you notes and a double-sided card with an area to write a note to their baby boy and where her guests could select the traits from both parents they thought he may have! finally, where would winne the pooh be without his hunny?! our custom kraft tags were the perfect finishing touch for the honey bear favors (pam’s mom’s brilliant idea!) we wish these parents-to-be best lots of luck as they enter this amazing new chapter.

work wednesday: joshua’s bar mitzvah.

a few years ago, we created a dance-themed bat mitzvah package for josh’s sister, sydney. now it was josh’s turn to celebrate with his sports-themed bar mitzvah.

the style of his invitation was inspired by his favorite sport, soccer and his favorite team, fc barcelona. the color palette consisted of his two favorite colors, blue and green. we designed a custom team crest for his monogram. the front of his invitation was designed to look like a professional soccer jersey. to stay “green,” his tech-savvy mother decided to create a website for guests to rsvp and gather more info. all invites were mailed to guests in grass green envelopes and finished with a custom photo stamp.

in addition to the invitation, we designed the elongated tri-fold ceremony program and turned the monogram into an embroidered patch for the take home/favor items for the kids. josh’s mom had them sewn onto mesh basketball shorts and cotton shorts for the girls. they turned out super cute!
