for her twenty fifteen card, alison conklin had honeycombs on her mind! we designed a coral and teal duplexed photo card that was bursting with letterpress polygons and fun facts from the family’s year in review. these square cards were mailed in bright, coral envelopes which were lined with a patterned liner featuring the family’s first names. victoria, of design house of moira, hand addressed each envelope in white ink using a beautiful thick brush stroke. these may be our favorite conklin greetings to date!

suzanne and jeffrey walked down the aisle in october at st. peter’s episcopal church and celebrated afterwards at the kimmel center in philadelphia. their chic invitation suite was designed in all black and white with a large focus on typography. their letterpress invites were printed in blind deboss and black ink. their digital inserts included a reply card with custom lined envelope, along with an information card that featured a custom map of philadelphia. the couple’s horizontal format suite was bundled around a piece of black coverstock with a thin black wax cord which held a square tag with a personalized blind deboss monogram. this was mailed in a sleek black envelope, with white foiled return address and envelope liner which included a unique drawing of the philadelphia skyline. they were hand addressed in a modern typeface by mandy of myrtle and lloyd and completed with custom postage displaying their precious dog, tucker!
next week we are going to feature suzanne and jeffrey’s day of materials!
alexandra and servando celebrated their new years’ eve nuptials at a rustic, california style celebration in santa barbara. with a palette of navy, peach and a pop of gold, we created their pocketfold suite which included a letterpress invitation, rsvp postcard and details card. as a special surprise for her spanish-speaking groom, alexandra asked that the invitation and rsvp card include both english and spanish wording. the pocketfold was wrapped with metallic gold bakers twine and finished with a custom monogrammed tag. the package was mailed in gold glitter lined kraft envelopes and hand addressed in a rich navy ink.
stephanie and marc were wed on the last number sequential date of the year, 12.13.14, at the upscale crystal tea room in philadelphia. as much as they loved their playful save the dates, they requested a formal and sophisticated silver and plum invitation suite. the letterpress invitation was adhered to a metallic titanium pocket fold. the rehearsal dinner invitation, rsvp postcard and details card were printed on a metallic cover stock and neatly stacked in the side pocket. the pocket was wrapped with a beautiful two-toned satin ribbon and sealed with a tag with their fabulous date. the package was mailed to guests in silver lined black envelopes which were hand addressed in silver ink by danica from the butler’s pantry.
in addition, we also designed stephanie’s wedding shower invitations. she had a brunch at valanni and asked that the design reflect the restaurant as well as her wedding day materials. we decided on a long, tall format adorned with geometric pattern and elegant fonts. each was mailed in a metallic silver envelope and sealed with a custom printed mailing label.
we wish these newlyweds the happiest of holidays and an amazing new year as husband and wife in their new home!
neon letterpress holiday cards for the very talented photographer (and one of our favorite people) alison conklin and her family. alison came to us with a wish for a non-traditional holiday card that showcased her children and what she was thankful for this year. we loved this sentimental idea for this special time of year. we designed an over-sized square card with fluorescent lime and hot pink bold text on the front and a place for a cute photograph of her boys on the back. we used a variety of brightly colored striped washi tape to adhere the photos. the edges of the thick cranes lettra stock were painted fluorescent lime for that extra special detail. the cards were placed into a white envelope that was lined with a hot orange liner (our photos do not even do the color justice!!) which listed her thankful thoughts in some fun alternate fonts. the package was finished with a very cheery patterned address label.
