lauren + thomas are getting married this april at the gorgeous caneel bay resort in cruz bay, st. john, u.s. virgin islands. lauren requested a chic and classic package that hinted at the islands. we used a traditional color palette of charcoal gray and sky blue on a warm white cotton paper. we achieved a timeless elegance with a mix of two cursive fonts. the invitation was letterpress and tied to the front of a pocket with fine italian cotton ribbon and a tag. the symbol on the tag is the resort’s logo inspired by an ancient column. when the invite is flipped over the pocket is revealed which keeps the rehearsal invite, welcome invite, reception card and rsvp postcard in place. the envelope was lined with a solid charcoal liner to add some contrast. the return address was pressed into the envelope flap and hand addressed in charcoal gray ink by helene gaffin. custom postage finished the package; a close up of the palms for the outer envelope and the resort logo for the rsvp postcard.

anchors away! katherine + casey are getting married at the gorgeous mill reef club in tropical antigua this memorial day weekend. you may remember their fun travel guide-inspired save the date we posted in january. we carried over the caribbean blues and greens along with the passport stamp monogram onto their invite package. we achieved the overall ‘laid back vacation’ look with a mix of handwritten fonts, hand drawn lines and a 2-sided playful tag. the invite and rsvp postcard were tied together with a chevron-patterned ribbon and inserted into a kraft envelope with wrap around label. we are excited to begin the destination day of materials this week!

here’s a little something to warm you up on this cold rainy day! katherine and casey are getting married at the spectacular mill reef club in sunny antigua over the memorial day holiday and requested a save the date to get their guests excited about their destination wedding. we shared their sneak peek back in november. we created a folded save the date inspired from passports and travel brochures. the cover is adorned with a monogram that resembles a passport stamp and can be used throughout their wedding materials. the interior is full of travel information, weekend events, and photos from the actual resort and beach. we’re secretly wishing we were invited!
