samantha and dirk will be married in just a few short weeks at the stunning washington memorial chapel in valley forge, pennsylvania. the celebration will then continue at their own 100 year old farm house that they have been restoring themselves. we couldn’t wait to begin working on this suite. they loved eclectic fonts, overlapping patterns and vibrant colors. they opted for a vintage poster style letterpress invitation with a palette of purple, orange and teal. their rsvp postcard featuring an etching of their farm house and folded details cards were stacked on top and held together with orange bakers twine. the suite was completed with a website tag and mailed to guests in beet purple envelopes. this is another fave for 2017!

mindy and chris welcomed their precious little poppy claire into this world in may. in addition to their new bundle of joy, they were also planning a cross country move to los angeles. talk about a life change!! so they decided to combine both announcements in a bright + cheery letterpress package. the letterpress birth announcement was printed in a fresh poppy red on a bright white double thick cotton paper stock. poppy’s adorable photo (shot by kevin monko) was attached with a patterned washi tape. the moving card was digitally printed and finished with the line say yes to new adventures. the cards were mailed out in a transparent vellum envelope filled with confetti and wrapped with a matching address label. this happy little package was inspired by this gorgeous hand lettered blanket, from how joyful, that mindy received as a gift. we are so excited to share this package, it makes us so happy. we wish this new little family the best of luck in la la land!!
we’re excited to finally share alison conklin’s family holiday card! she wanted to go in a non-traditional route with colors and style. of course she had an awesome photo to use of her boys tossing paper snow confetti! alison gave us words of gratitude that we used as a wall paper framing the offset photo. the letterpress inks we chose were influenced by the boys’ outfits. we used a knit chevron pattern as an envelope liner and letterpressed her return address in a translucent white onto the navy envelope flap. the envelope was finished off with a fun wrap around address label.
a passport style save the date for sandy and anthony’s fun destination wedding at beaches turks and caicos. sandy requested a colorful save the date that would get guests excited to join them in the caribbean next october to celebrate. we created an eight-page passport complete with rounded corners and passport stamps. the pages contain resort and flight booking information along with the important fact that halloween will be celebrated there! the save the date was mailed in a see-through glassine envelope with a bold wrap around address label.
anchors away! katherine + casey are getting married at the gorgeous mill reef club in tropical antigua this memorial day weekend. you may remember their fun travel guide-inspired save the date we posted in january. we carried over the caribbean blues and greens along with the passport stamp monogram onto their invite package. we achieved the overall ‘laid back vacation’ look with a mix of handwritten fonts, hand drawn lines and a 2-sided playful tag. the invite and rsvp postcard were tied together with a chevron-patterned ribbon and inserted into a kraft envelope with wrap around label. we are excited to begin the destination day of materials this week!
jahri (an offensive guard for the new orleans saints!) + takia will be getting married this june in the beautiful islands of the bahamas. with the assistance of their wedding planner, gina sole, they have planned an elegant wedding with a color palette of black, gold, and ivory with touches of blush pink. they wanted to wow their guests with a save the date that got them super excited for their destination wedding. takia suggested we incorporate a bottle of rum to hint at the island wedding. we customized the bottle with a label-style save the date where all of the information besides the wedding destination was included. an ombre silk ribbon was used to tie a miniature folded tag to the top of the bottle with a scratch-off inside. guests had to scratch the gold circle with a coin to reveal where the wedding will take place. we secured the glass bottle inside a small wooden crate filled with shredded pink paper. the lid was silk screened by awesome dudes printing with the couple’s monogram for that extra special personal touch.
we designed an alternative flat save the date card for their guests who do not drink alcohol. this was printed on metallic ivory paper, wrapped with ribbon and the scratch off tag and mailed in a black envelope with wrap around label.
we are beginning their invitations now and can’t wait to share these beauties as well!
