willow lace was born into the comfort of her family’s home during the last week of 2016. her family shared a variety of photos to use for the announcement, but we were most in love with this black and white capture that includes both of the parent’s hands holding little willow. we dressed up the design with casual fonts and a subtle lace pattern, which was a must! the family added some personal touches to the back which included their entire tribe and a fun shot representing her daddy’s love of hunting. we wish these guys the best on their new adventure as a family of four!
a couple more of our birth announcements, designed for petite lemon for shutterfly, are now available for purchase! our modern grid birth announcement comes in both boy and girl versions, each with 2 color options. it’s always baby season!
mindy and chris welcomed their precious little poppy claire into this world in may. in addition to their new bundle of joy, they were also planning a cross country move to los angeles. talk about a life change!! so they decided to combine both announcements in a bright + cheery letterpress package. the letterpress birth announcement was printed in a fresh poppy red on a bright white double thick cotton paper stock. poppy’s adorable photo (shot by kevin monko) was attached with a patterned washi tape. the moving card was digitally printed and finished with the line say yes to new adventures. the cards were mailed out in a transparent vellum envelope filled with confetti and wrapped with a matching address label. this happy little package was inspired by this gorgeous hand lettered blanket, from how joyful, that mindy received as a gift. we are so excited to share this package, it makes us so happy. we wish this new little family the best of luck in la la land!!
a special package by the name of oliver jordan was delivered to the stricker family in april of last year! his elated parents wanted his birth announcement to reflect their love of traveling. we were inspired by vintage airmail for this piece, which featured the most adorable photo of oliver sporting a knit pilot’s hat. his patriotic red and blue letterpress announcement was wrapped in firecracker bakers twine. the final touch was a kraft luggage tag with passport style stamps, complete with a stamped custom illustration of the pennsylvania hospital where oliver was welcomed into the world. these happy little packages were sent in navy envelopes with a coordinating striped address label and a special delivery stamp. we hope oliver’s life has been full of many adventures already!

playing with foils, watercolor + stitching elements for some brand new birth announcements!
we (dee + pat) loved the idea of sharing a bump shot (by alison conklin) on our holiday card this year since there were only a few months left before we got to meet our best gift ever. i kept the design and type simple so the main focus would be on our little-family-to-be.
after miss mila arrived we had another shoot (of course!) with alison. it was so difficult to choose the perfect image for her birth announcement! once the decision had been made, i worked with danica, from the butler’s pantry, to create hand-written artwork for her name. each card was mailed out in a kraft envelope and finished with a mailing label.
