we had a blast creating this save the date for benjamin’s bar mitzvah this coming march in france. they requested a scratch off and reveal card for their emoji-themed celebration. this double-sided card was packed with bold patterns, playful fonts and comical emoticons to hint at the fun to come! they were mailed to guests in pool blue envelopes and finished with matching address labels.

david and his mother, randi, were referred to us by rachel’s mom, debbie, to create all the materials for his bar mitzvah at the philadelphia hilton city avenue. debbie was assisting with the party planning and we were thrilled to be able to work with her again! we had a ball at our first design consultation brainstorming their theme — david was hysterical! even though he is only thirteen, he enjoys watching old hollywood movies and comedians. so his theme became a night starring david! they loved the old movie poster invitation we designed a few years back for raina + brian and wanted us to customize it just for david. he decided he was going to wear a blue bow tie that night, so that became the icon of the package. the poster included a silhouette of david wearing his top hat, bow tie and cane and even a tear-off reply ticket. it was folded and wrapped with a white satin ribbon and finished with an admit one ticket tag! they were mailed to guests in black #10 envelopes with a custom address label and bow tie postage stamp. we also designed some corresponding thank you notes with his name front and center!
having fun with bow ties + vintage movie marquees for an upcoming bar mitzvah.
a few years ago, we created a dance-themed bat mitzvah package for josh’s sister, sydney. now it was josh’s turn to celebrate with his sports-themed bar mitzvah.
the style of his invitation was inspired by his favorite sport, soccer and his favorite team, fc barcelona. the color palette consisted of his two favorite colors, blue and green. we designed a custom team crest for his monogram. the front of his invitation was designed to look like a professional soccer jersey. to stay “green,” his tech-savvy mother decided to create a website for guests to rsvp and gather more info. all invites were mailed to guests in grass green envelopes and finished with a custom photo stamp.
in addition to the invitation, we designed the elongated tri-fold ceremony program and turned the monogram into an embroidered patch for the take home/favor items for the kids. josh’s mom had them sewn onto mesh basketball shorts and cotton shorts for the girls. they turned out super cute!
